Ballunar Liftoff Festival – Daytime

Last weekend I went to Johnson Space Center before dawn to watch as hot air balloons landed on the campus grounds in the RE/MAX Ballunar Liftoff Festival.  There were so many balloons and it was a blast watching them float through the air.

The American Southwest from the air

Flying between Texas and California provides some fantastic views of many amazing landscapes.  I was lucky and had clear skies for most of the way both to California and back, and took photos for as long as I had daylight.  These are a few of my favorites.
