After we finished at the blue tile wall, we headed over to the Blanton Museum of Art.  Unfortunately the yellow tubing sculpture/art installation was gone, but there were some great columns outside the museum to take pictures by.

In downtown Austin there is a fabulous blue tile wall, and we took some fun portraits of Erin in front of it.

Sam was in Houston for work, so we went to Clear Lake Park for some portraits. Some storms were coming in, so there were some ominous clouds in the background. Luckily we got a bunch of shots before it started raining!

I bought some black and silver satin to use for a new backdrop. Em let me take a few pictures of her to try it out.

Emily, Sara, and I headed down to the Blanton Museum of Art at the University of Texas last weekend and got some fun portraits at an art installation there.

Last weekend I took portraits of the King family.  We started out doing studio pictures in their living room and then moved to Mayfield Park.  Their dogs were very well trained and enjoyed having their photos taken!

After seeing Phantom of the Opera in downtown Houston, Em and I did an impromptu photo shoot by a fountain across the street from the theater.  There was some uplighting from some glass squares on the sidewalk, and then by the fountain there was a bright greenish backlight.  I used my external flash off to [...]

Sara came to visit from Austin and she wanted some photos of her with her conducting baton and her flute.  We used my black backdrop for some and my red office curtains for others.  She’s already got one of the pictures with her baton up on her school’s website!

I took pictures of Sara and her parents as a thank you for letting Emily and I stay with them over 4th of July weekend.  Their dog Teener got in on it, too!

Emily, Sara, and I went on a long weekend in San Antonio for my birthday. We saw the musical Wicked, went to the Botanical Gardens, the Alamo, and the Riverwalk. It was a great time! Sara and Emily in our swanky room at the Hotel Valencia Sara studying the room service menu Emily reading After [...]
