I shot Amy and Michael’s engagement portraits a couple of weeks ago. We started out at Amy’s apartment complex, went to a few locations in the Med Center, and ended up wandering around in the fog downtown. They were adorable together and we had a blast!

I took portraits of Lindsay, Derek, and their six-month-old Adelyn last weekend. We started out indoors with some studio shots, and then moved to Clear Lake Park later in the afternoon when the light was nice. It was cold but Adelyn had fun rolling around in her cute bear ear [...] I took some portraits of Terri’s German Shepherds in Terri’s backyard in Austin. They were very well behaved and enjoyed all the treats they got for taking such good pictures!
When we were in Austin in October, I took a few pictures of Emily downtown and at the Capitol at night.
[...] After we finished at the blue tile wall, we headed over to the Blanton Museum of Art. Unfortunately the yellow tubing sculpture/art installation was gone, but there were some great columns outside the museum to take pictures by.
In downtown Austin there is a fabulous blue tile wall, and we took some fun portraits of Erin in front of it.
[...] Sam was in Houston for work, so we went to Clear Lake Park for some portraits. Some storms were coming in, so there were some ominous clouds in the background. Luckily we got a bunch of shots before it started raining!
I bought some black and silver satin to use for a new backdrop. Em let me take a few pictures of her to try it out.
[...] Emily, Sara, and I headed down to the Blanton Museum of Art at the University of Texas last weekend and got some fun portraits at an art installation there.
Last weekend I took portraits of the King family. We started out doing studio pictures in their living room and then moved to Mayfield Park. Their dogs were very well trained and enjoyed having their photos taken!
