The last time I was in Austin I got to take some pictures of my best friend Sara and her parents in a neighborhood park.  We walked around the park a bit and people-watched.  They are fabulous people, and it’s always wonderful to spend time with them.

Cathy contacted me because her parents’ 50th wedding anniversary was coming up and she wanted to give them pictures of their entire family.  She, her husband and children, her sister, her brother and his family, her parents, and one tiny, fluffy dog all gathered at San Gabriel Park in Georgetown, Texas a couple of weeks [...]

Last weekend, the Shupla family and I went to Bay Area Park to take portraits.  The kids had a blast playing on the swings and finding cool stuff to look at in the water, and everyone was a great sport about the not-so-perfect weather (it gets cold even in Houston occasionally!).

I took portraits of Lindsay, Derek, and their six-month-old Adelyn last weekend.  We started out indoors with some studio shots, and then moved to Clear Lake Park later in the afternoon when the light was nice.  It was cold but Adelyn had fun rolling around in her cute bear ear coat!

I took pictures of Sara and her parents as a thank you for letting Emily and I stay with them over 4th of July weekend.  Their dog Teener got in on it, too!
