We went to Galveston to try to catch a view of Comet McNaught several weeks ago. We were unsuccessful because of cloud cover and light pollution, but I did manage to get a few decent pictures while it was still dark. The Milky Way

It seems that every time we go down to Galveston, there’s a nice sunset. These are from a few weeks ago.  Most were taken with my Canon, but I took the triptych of gulls with my iPhone.

Em and I took a bunch of pictures in downtown Houston and on the beach in Galveston a couple of weeks ago.

Juliane, Em, and I were down in Galveston getting trained for sea turtle patrol and on our way home, we caught a gorgeous sunset!
