Em and I took a bunch of pictures in downtown Houston and on the beach in Galveston a couple of weeks ago.
[...] In my living room over my couch I have a picture wall with a dozen 8×10 pictures. Previously, they had been all in color, but we decided to get a new set of different pictures printed in black and white. They look so much better! The color ones were nice but all of them in [...] After seeing Phantom of the Opera in downtown Houston, Em and I did an impromptu photo shoot by a fountain across the street from the theater. There was some uplighting from some glass squares on the sidewalk, and then by the fountain there was a bright greenish backlight. I used my external flash [...] We had some amazing lightning in Houston a couple of days ago! I was lucky and got this shot from my apartment balcony.
