Sea turtles!

Juliane, Em, and I went down to Galveston to the NOAA Sea Turtle Facility’s open house this afternoon. They had the most adorable baby sea turtles and beautiful adult turtles!

It seems that every time we go down to Galveston, there’s a nice sunset. These are from a few weeks ago. Most were taken with my Canon, but I took the triptych of gulls with my iPhone.

The bluebonnets and Indian paintbrushes were out in full force when we were in Austin last month! Spring has definitely sprung in central Texas!

Juliane, Em, and I were down in Galveston getting trained for sea turtle patrol and on our way home, we caught a gorgeous sunset!

I made a seven-picture panorama of the downtown Austin skyline at dusk, and I can’t decide if I like it better in color or black and white. I also got a decent shot of the moon.

Amy and Michael’s engagement portraits

I shot Amy and Michael’s engagement portraits a couple of weeks ago. We started out at Amy’s apartment complex, went to a few locations in the Med Center, and ended up wandering around in the fog downtown. They were adorable together and we had a blast!
